These distinguished leaders bring a wealth of experience and perspectives that will be invaluable in advancing HELP USA’s mission to end homelessness during this period of expansion and as the organization approaches its 40th anniversary.

“From Day 1, HELP has been an innovator in the fight against homelessness, and the commitment of our Board has been the driving force behind this work,” said Dan Lehman, President & CEO of HELP USA. “With the addition of these highly accomplished experts, we are well-positioned to continue to deliver best-in-class thinking to address the housing crisis in New York City and around the country. I look forward to working with Rich, Terry, Gil, and Ignacio to ensure everyone has a place to call home.”

“HELP USA was built by people who envisioned a better, more dignified way of helping our neighbors in need. This is still our culture today, and our new Directors are a perfect fit for HELP,” said Anthony Williams, HELP USA Board Chair. “They have set standards, revolutionized systems, and forged new pathways that have changed the landscape in their sectors. I am confident they will be just as impactful here. On behalf of the entire Board, I welcome this talented group.”

“I’m honored to join the board of HELP USA, an organization whose mission to combat homelessness deeply resonates with me,” said Dr. Richard Park. “I am inspired by the impactful work they have done to serve vulnerable communities, from families to survivors of domestic violence to individuals with health challenges. I hope to share in their efforts to help all individuals lead stable, empowered lives.”

“This is a pivotal growth moment for HELP USA, and I am eager to work with Dan, Tony, and the Board to establish a sustainable path forward that will lay a strong foundation for years to come,” said Terry Bischoff. “I am grateful for the opportunity to leverage my nonprofit management experience and work with HELP to combat this unprecedented wave of homelessness in New York City.”

“Joining the Board of HELP USA is an honor and a meaningful opportunity to give back to our community. I look forward to collaborating with my fellow Directors and the talented staff to continue the agency’s tradition of innovation,” said Gil Addo. “Together, we can advance the mission and find new ways of creating stable housing solutions that strengthen communities.”

“I was drawn to HELP USA by their innovative and holistic approach to empowering individuals and families, and I am delighted to serve on the Board of an organization whose critical work addresses the global housing crisis,” said Ignacio Perez-Pozuelo. “I am excited to contribute my expertise in data and AI to improve outcomes and create meaningful, lasting change for those in need.”
